How long does my hair have to be in order to get a Brazilian wax?
Your first Brazilian wax hair should be at least a quarter of an inch long, which is about 2 weeks of growth. Once you’ve gotten your first wax, it’s pretty standard to get waxed once every 4 weeks, but can vary depending on the person and their preference.
What should I know before my wax appointment?
Exfoliate beforehand to help lift hairs. Wear loose/comfortable clothing. Advil can be taken 30 min prior. Refrain from swimming or getting sweaty for the rest of the day.
How long does a lash lift last?
The lashes are permanently curled until they naturally shed. We naturally shed 1-4 lashes every day, so eventually, you will start to see new straight hairs mixed in with your old curled hairs that haven’t fallen out yet.
How often can I get my lashes lifted?
Every 6-8 weeks.
What should I know before my lash lift appointment?
The lash lifting process takes between 45min and 1hr. If you wear contact lenses, please do not wear them to your appointment, wear glasses instead. It’s also best if you remove mascara before your appointment. Refrain from drinking caffeine so that you’re able to relax your eyelids.
What is the difference between a regular brow tint and henna?
A: Regular tint only tints the hair, and lasts 2-4 weeks. This is good for people who are happy with their brow shape and fullness. Henna tints the hair and also stains the skin. The tint can last up to 6 weeks and the stain can last up to 10 days. This is good for people who want to shape and fill their brows. Containing hydrolyzed proteins, vitamins, and antioxidants, henna promotes hair growth and strengthens the condition of the hair. The coloring agents in henna are derived from a plant, it contains NO ammonia or peroxide.
Is micro-needling painful and can I be numbed beforehand?
It is a mild discomfort but completely tolerable. I do not offer numbing cream, but it can be arranged if you request upon booking.
